Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

The technology we use at Spackman Dental aids in treatment planning and helps to ensure that your dental appointments run smoothly. We can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan because we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms.

Our mission is to provide dental care to patients while also educating them about their oral health. Dental technology enables us to accomplish both of these objectives.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays make use of digital sensors rather than photographic X-ray film.

They generate detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, that help your dentist to examine areas of your mouth not visible to the naked eye. With X-rays, your dentist will be able to identify any diseases and abnormalities that should be diagnosed and treated.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays help your dentist to capture an image of your entire mouth in one shot. This image depicts the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures in a flat format.

Panoramic X-rays are an aid in the planning of dental procedures such as dentures, braces, extractions, and implants.

Cone Beam Cat Scan

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a type of X-ray machine that produces three-dimensional images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan.

CBCT images help to enable more precise treatment planning, including airway analysis for snoring and sleep apnea treatment, for example.
